Inexplicably, Pinhas repudiated this reissue in a interview, along with its sequel, It's Always Rock 'n' Roll, as recordings that "did not stand time." Heldon was not yet a proper band at this stage, and had only Georges Grunblatt assisting Pinhas on mellotron, guitars and A.R.P. synthesizer. Perhaps Pinhas is embarrassed, in retrospect, at the recording's general lack of originality.

  7. Manris says:
Lead by Richard Pinhas, French group Heldon produced the most powerful music of the 70's electronic scene with the classic analog synths being played in an aggressive style predating the electro/industrial movement of the 80's. Interface dates from and combines dark Moog rythms with Pinhas' greatguitar playing/5(6).
  8. Goltirr says:
Heldon, on this CD anyway sounds to be part electronic, part progressive art rock. Heldon was apparently influenced by Robert Fripp & Brian Eno. It shows on one of the tracks, "In The Wake Of King Fripp" which I liked as well as "Omar Diop Blondin" and the minute "Fluence: Continuum"/5(9).
